The free segment audit
You send one passage — up to 500 words from a real working document. Within 48 hours you get a written assessment: what's wrong, why it matters, what needs fixing. No obligation, no follow-up sales call. You see exactly how I work. Then you decide.
What a paid engagement looks like
Every engagement starts from the same question: what are the consequences if this translation is wrong?
I work in three formats depending on the answer.
Document review
You send a completed translation — AI-generated, outsourced, or internal. I return a corrected version with a detailed error report: what was wrong, how it was wrong, and what the correct formulation is. Terminology errors, register failures, meaning shifts, omissions — classified by severity. You get a clean document and a written record of every change.
Typical turnaround: 48–72 hours depending on length and complexity.
Ongoing validation
For organisations producing regular translated content — client communications, regulatory filings, technical documentation — I work on a retainer basis. You send documents as they arise. I validate and return them within an agreed turnaround window. This is the model that makes sense when translation quality is a recurring operational requirement, not a one-off concern.
Terminology and process audit
A deeper review of how your organisation handles translation. I examine a representative sample of your translated output, identify systemic patterns — recurring terminology errors, register inconsistencies, AI-specific failure modes — and deliver a written report with concrete recommendations. This is the engagement that changes your workflow, not just your documents.
Deliverables
Every engagement produces a written, citable record. You receive corrected text, an error report classified by severity, and, where relevant, terminology recommendations for future use. The deliverable is designed to be useful not just to you but to your compliance process: something you can file, reference, and defend.
Pricing
I price by document or by retainer, not by word. Word-rate pricing incentivises volume. My work is about accuracy under scrutiny — the opposite metric.
Document reviews are quoted individually based on length, complexity, and sector. Retainers are agreed monthly based on expected volume and turnaround requirements. I'll give you a clear quote before any paid work begins.
Languages
English, Spanish, and Catalan — in any direction. My specialist sectors are maritime, legal, financial, and pharmaceutical, but I work across any regulated or high-stakes context where a translation error has consequences beyond embarrassment.
